Hi, I’m Tony. I help freelancers go from good to great.

But…

Before we launch into my story, let’s talk about you.

Does this sound familiar?

As a freelancer I used to…
  • Question myself at every turn,
  • Believe I was surrounded by a sea of competition,
  • Feel guilty about sharing, like I was offloading my problems onto everyone else.

If you feel the same way, I hear you. There’s good news though—you’re not alone.

Because… Let’s be honest.

1. Modern life. It’s so hectic! There’s so much to do and so little time.

Between your three social media accounts, the tax returns, all the networking… There’s a ton of stuff to do, and it never seems to end. And, that’s all the stuff you have to do alongside client work.

It can feel overwhelming, and the day-to-day can be a slog.

2. More competition is cropping up every day. And it’s never been easier for someone to start a business like yours.

There’s no shortage of others looking to do your job. And now there are websites like Fivver and PeoplePerHour, it can feel like the walls are closing in.

3. You’re one-of-a-kind, so you ought to stand out. But the opposite is true, and you’re blending in with the rest.

You’ve probably bought a few courses and read a few books. But nothing seems to change. It’s like running round a hamster wheel—you’re using plenty of energy, but not getting anywhere fast.

4. You have the skills and the knowledge, but… There’s still doubt in your mind.

You can’t quite put your finger on it, but something isn’t quite right. It’s as if you’re holding yourself back somehow. Still…

Former Client Crista Cloutier

I was feeling paralyzed by overwhelm when I first met Tony. I had so many big dreams but just as many big fears. By the end of our conversation, I could breathe again.’
— Crista Cloutier > Writer, The Working Artist

You need to make this work.

The clock is ticking and you’re feeling the pressure. You might’ve gone freelance straight out of university, like me. Or maybe you took the plunge after working for someone else.

Either way, one thing is certain. You need to make this a success.

It’s not just that family and friends expect great things—it’s for you, too. Freelancing becomes part of your identity after a while. It’s painful to imagine giving up that freedom and working for someone else.

Trouble is, when you work solo, you end up too close to your business to see it clearly. You can’t see the label from inside the jar.

Former Client Lily Marsh

‘Tony’s coaching offered a really practical way of thinking through work related obstacles I was experiencing. I’m self employed and often work alone, so it was also refreshing to talk to someone about creative practice.’
— Lily Marsh > Stonemason, Carver & Sculptor

That’s where I come in.

We’ll put our heads together and I’ll give you a helping hand. And afterwards you’ll know what to do to move your business in the right direction.

So, why me?

I’ve been a freelance creative for the past six years, and a mentor for three. I’ve scored some big wins and made some big mistakes. I can bring all of this to our conversations, so you get to where you’re going—faster.

And speaking of conversations, I know we’ll talk the same language. We are from the same (creative) world, after all. But don’t take my word for it—here’s the proof.

Just like you, I do some marketing every now and again. Have a look here to see me chat on videos and podcasts. Or if you’re more of a reader, I’ve got you covered—why not check out these articles?

Otherwise, head on over to Results to see what others wrote about my coaching. Or if you’re looking for more detailed thoughts, check out the Client Story videos.

Anyway, enough about me. I’m here to help you, after all. With that said…

Former Client Evelyn Vargas

‘Since the very first moment I jumped into a call with Tony, I felt seen, heard and understood. His coaching approach and the questions he had for me really made me think outside the box.’
— Evelyn Vargas > EHS Coach & Programme Manager at Salary Coaching for Women

Here’s my vision for you:

I want you to be excited to start your day, day in, day out. To be proud of the work you do, and the clients you serve. And to be excited to share your story with the world.

So, how can you get from here to there?

The first step to get started:

In my experience, there are three steps to solving problems like yours:
  • The first is to figure out what the problem is,
  • The second is to look at it from other angles,
  • And the third is to discover the truth behind the troubles.

With this process, we can address everything that’s holding you back and change your work life for the better. So by all means, bring me your big and intimidating challenges. Together, we’ll banish them one by one. All you have to do for now is to click this button to book in a chat. I’ll be looking forward to it!
